How We Started

Charlie who is 7 got her ears pierced and wanted to get sparkly earrings...  yaaay!!!  We tried every different type of earring, sensitive, hypoallergenic, nickel free, 10k gold, surgical stainless steel.  Every option made Charlie's ears terribly sensitive and caused extreme contact dermatitis which left blisters on her ears.  

14K Gold Works!!!  YAAAYY!!!
Both myself and Charlie have sensitive ears with most metals. But we discovered that 14 K Gold or higher works really well. The problem? They're expensive!!

We invested in a gold pair for Charlie but one day she lost them and we didn't even know where to start looking.  (We think maybe the pool) We didn't want to keep buying gold earrings for a 7 year old. We love Charlie, but that's expensive!

Fantastic Plastic to the rescue... I ordered a couple of pairs from a seller in the USA that had plastic post earrings and taaadaaaa no irritation!

...except... Customs, exchange rate, 4 weeks delivery... ugh!! 

So off I went to research.  I can make these!!! I can make them AND make sure I know which plastics to use, where it comes and make sure they can withstand Charlie 🤣 and so the journey began!
